Individual Home Support needed for Adult

Seeking a reliable caregiver to assist with IEP goals and meal preparation for a young adult female with autism/developmental disabilities in my New Milford, CT home. Must have experience working with individuals with autism and be comfortable with an occasional behavioral outburst. 15-20 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Typical hours are weekday afternoons 4:30pm -7:30pm. Weekends are optional and flexible. Pay is $25/hr through GT Independence. Applicants must have a clean/valid driver’s license and be very comfortable working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a rewarding role in a supportive family setting with opportunities to participate in recreational outings and community activities.
