Description
Hello, we are looking for a part time caregiver for our sweet 5 year old son. He has spastic quad cerebral palsy, and cannot walk or sit up on his own yet. He takes all of his food by G-Tube. He also has a developmental delay, CVI and epilepsy. He is mostly non verbal but says a few words. He is full of energy and good at communicating his needs.
Duties would include playing with him, reading to him (this is his #1 favorite thing) changing his diapers, occasionally administering his food and meds via G Tube. Also lifting him from his chair to the floor, medical stroller, or pack and play. He weighs about 40 lbs.
He is in school Monday-Friday from 9 an to 3:30 pm.
He is sweet, very funny, social, and very smart. He loves to be busy, so having someone play with him while we are working around the house would be a great help.
Myself or my husband would likely be at home working while you are here. We have 6 PCA hours a week, and can be flexible with days avs times.
If you think this position would be a good fit, please contact us and tell me a bit about yourself.
