PCA needed for Adult

Description

Looking for a female PCA to provide supports on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 3.5 hours each day. The days can be flexible and do not have to be Tuesdays and Thursdays, but she is ideally looking for two days per week in the mornings to afternoon (ie: 10am-1:30pm each shift).
She has just been approved for the PCA program through Tempus and received 7 hours a week and is looking to fulfill these hours ASAP! :)

The position is for a 60 year-old elderly woman who lives independently in a gated community in South Dartmouth. She has a wonderful personality, caring in nature, and has such a genuine appreciative character.

Tasks Needed would be as follows;
Assistance with meal preparation (Breakfast, lunch, dinner prep for her to heat up at night), Light housekeeping, Grocery shopping, going for walks in her community with her each shift for 45mins-1hr, transportation to appointments (all transport needs are within 3 to 8 miles from her home.) She does pay her PCAs for gas if transportation is provided the days that you're scheduled to work. Depending on the amount of travel, Gas will be paid between $10 and $20 at the end of the week prior to leaving your shift.

She does have complex medical needs such as;
Several meningiomas, history of a stroke in 2022 that resulted in right sided weakness, Legally blind but able to see directly in front of her— no peripheral vision in either eye.

I am her case manager posting this ad, and I would be the main contact for all of her PCA program needs, as I am also the surrogate for her PCA program.

I have worked with her since May 2024, and she is an absolute pleasure to support.

She really would benefit from somebody who is committed to providing her long-term PCA services.
