Description
Live-In Special Needs Provider in the Boston Metro Area. Here's a detailed summary of the position:
Who You Are:
• A compassionate and empathetic professional dedicated to making a positive impact.
• Motivated by providing quality care to the special needs population, especially a young female adult.
• Experienced in special needs, ABA therapy, personal care, companionship, and cooking.
• Able to manage appointments, weekly schedules, and social activities for the client.
• This is a full-time, live-in role that requires working six days a week.
What You Will Do:
• Implement and monitor a customized care plan for the client that nurtures their overall well-being (mind, body, and spirit).
• Provide exceptional care while treating the client like a family member.
• Assist with daily activities (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility, light housekeeping, and meal prep.
• Foster social engagement, accompany to appointments, and help with community involvement.
• Document and report changes in the client’s condition.

Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care, emotional support, and companionship.
• Help create and execute weekly care plans and schedules.
• Assist with mobility, hygiene, and other personal care tasks.
• Offer transportation to appointments and manage the client’s schedule.
• Keep the client’s safety and enjoyment a priority.
• Document care activities and changes in health or behavior.
Qualifications:
• Required:
o Empathy, compassion, and kindness.
o Over the age of 18 and authorized to work in the U.S.
o Professional references and background check.
o Valid ID and clean driving record.
o Experience in special needs care.
• Preferred:
o Education or experience in special needs.
o RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) or BCBA (Board-Certified Behavior Analyst) certification.
