Rewarding Work Resources, Inc, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to connect individuals with disabilities, seniors, and families to qualified personal care workers. With headquarters in Brookline, Massachusetts, Rewarding Work currently operates in eight states. Click here for additional information.
How does it work?
The Kansas Personal Care Directory lets you choose from a wide selection of potential employees. It helps make the search process for personal care workers much easier and more convenient. With a simple computer search, individuals can find the respite or personal care workers who best meet their needs. You can filter potential workers by proximity, availability, and desired skills and experience. There is no limit to the number of workers you can select through the site.

How do I login?
After you register, you will receive a password by email. To ensure security, the system is case sensitive. You will need to login exactly as your login information appears. The first time you use the password you will be asked to change it. You will need to use your username (email address) and password each time you login.
How much does this service cost?
Subscriptions are on a sliding scale, based on the length of the subscription. Your subscription can be as short as one month, or as long as one year. If you have Medicaid coverage through KanCare, you are eligible for a free subscription.

12 months $90
A 24-hour free trial subscription is available to view the directory and evaluate the search mechanism. However, you must become a paid subscriber to contact prospective employees.
Are workers prescreened?
No. Job candidates in the Kansas Personal Care Directory have NOT been screened in any way and their backgrounds have NOT been checked. It is your responsibility as an employer to check references and backgrounds of people you may hire. Candidates in the directory have completed a thorough application, which should provide you with information that allows you to make an informed decision about whether or not you wish to contact them.
